What is the Banksy Museum?

A unique exhibition where you can discover more than 160 of the most controversial and
famous works by the revolutionary street artist Banksy
.

Where is the experience located?
At the Banksy Museum Amsterdam, Van Slingelandtplein 8, 1051DD Amsterdam.

Does the experience take place indoors or outdoors?

Inside.

What are the opening hours of the experience?

Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (last admission at 6:15 p.m.)
Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (last admission at 7:15 p.m.)

How long does a visit to the museum take?

The full visit takes about 1 hour.

May I take photos or videos during the experience?

Yes, photography and video are allowed.

Do children have to pay entrance fees?

Children from 0 to 6 years of age may enter for free.

 

Accessibility of the event

Should I come at the time listed on my ticket?

Yes, it is very important to be present at the time on your ticket. If
is delayed, we cannot guarantee admission to the museum.

You can always purchase a Flexi Ticket if needed (see question "Will
be refunded? What is the exchange and cancellation policy?").

Is there an age limit?

No, the museum is open to everyone!

Is the venue accessible to people with limited mobility? Is there discount
for people with disabilities?

Unfortunately, our museum is on two floors and there is no elevator to the
upper floor. Persons whose disabilities prevent them from reaching the second floor
are granted free access to the first floor of the museum
(this covers 2/3 of the exhibition).

How do I get to the museum?

Metro: Line 50 - Station "Isolatorweg"

Tram: Line 13 - stop "Bos en Lommerweg"

Is there parking nearby?

Our museum has some free parking spaces for visitors. Please contact
upon arrival to take advantage of these. Please note
that the number of spaces is limited and cannot be guaranteed
.

 

About the tickets

Can I buy tickets at the event box office?

Yes, tickets can be purchased at the box office or online.

Where can I buy tickets?

On Ticketmaster's website (https://www.ticketmaster.nl/)
On our website (https://museumbanksy.nl)
At the on-site box office.

Will there be refunds? What is the exchange and cancellation policy?

Tickets are non-refundable. Non-refundable terms must be accepted for
purchase.

Should I print my ticket?

No, you can also show the ticket on your cell phone.

Can I give my ticket to someone else?

Yes, you can transfer your tickets to someone else for free. There will be no
identity check.

I can't find my ticket. What should I do?

Our team will email the tickets again. You can also
come to the box office, where a colleague can help you find your reservation again
.

Does the museum have an audio guide?

Our museum offers an audio guide. You can buy it along with your ticket or at the box office (the audio guide costs €2 per person). The guide is available in Dutch, English and French.
Please note that to use the audio guide you need a smartphone and a stable internet connection.

We recommend bringing your own earbuds for the best experience.

Does the Museum Card entitle you to free admission or discounts?

Unfortunately, we do not partner with the Museum Card or other
discount cards.

 

Other information

Are lockers available at the museum?

Unfortunately, there are no lockers or other secure storage options at the museum. We therefore recommend coming lightly packed. Only strollers (baby carriages) can be left at the front desk with our staff. Please note that all items left at the front desk remain the responsibility of the owner.

Does the museum have a cafeteria?
Our museum does not have any catering facilities.

Are dogs welcome at the museum?

To protect the works of art, dogs and other animals are not allowed
. Only assistance dogs are allowed.

Can I eat or drink in the museum?

Food and drinks are not allowed in the museum. Only water is allowed.
